Pour Lui was launched in 1980 by design house Oscar de la Renta as a sharp, oriental and woody fragrance for men. It is described as an undemanding and clean yet sensitive scent. The notes open with vibrant aromas such as bergamot, mandarin orange and fir resin which slowly melt into a warmer blend of fragrant herbs including sage, lavender and basil enriched with nutmeg, lavender, jasmine and violet leaf with a touch of cloves. The composition finally settling into a classically earthy base comprised of musk, sandalwood, creamy vanilla and oakmoss. Pour Lui is recommended to be worn at night.
