The design house of Givenchy was developed by the designer Hubert de Givenchy in 1952. It is rumoured to have been developed after a meeting between Hubert de Givenchy and Audrey Hepburn. The aim behind Givenchy is to offer the public a 'Givenchy Style' which is described as being French elegance meeting with American glamour all mixed together with an air of sophistication and modernity. Givenchy first released its woman's fragrance back in 1984 and it's first men's fragrance was released back in 1959.
